Sunday was a rather quiet day...we went to church and then came home and had some lunch. A few naps were taken...and we watched the Living Scriptures video of Nephi. Then after dinner Ashley and Clark joined us...(they were invited for dinner, they just didn't make it). But, I had all of my kids here! For about an hour...Clark had to leave for a date...Later we webcammed with Dale in Georgia...since my monitor isn't working, we hooked the computer up to our TV. Wow is Dale big! It was fun for them to chat...
The biggest event of the day was Jacob taking his first step! Right here at Grandma's house! He likes to stand...a lot...but will never take a step. Even though we try and try to get him to. So all of a sudden out of the blue, he was standing there and just took a step towards his mom! We all got excited and I think it scared him. We of course kept trying to get him to do it and video tape it, but it wouldn't quite work, and then he just got frustrated with it all! But it was fun watching him...and to hear everyone trying to get him to do it. It's funny how they know they are being taped and just won't do what you want them to! So that was our Sunday...Joel and I had a youth fireside to attend which was really good (they always are!)...then we just enjoyed the evening together playing games and having fun...and eating the yummy chocolate trifle Amanda made...
