November is over and we haven't had our snow yet! That one day of snow that melted by the next day hardly counts! Anyway, with such good weather, we had the kids help us clean out the coops. They weren't too excited about it, but they always help. Then Jacob needed help getting a loose tooth out. Following the example of David doing it using one of Ontie's dogs in the past, he decided to tie his tooth to a nerf arrow. Nate would shoot the arrow, Grandpa and Amanda ready to video and me to take a picture. It happened so fast! Jacob didn't even know what happened! Grandpa got slow motion video. It was fun to re-watch it. And last but not least to finish off November, we got our tree! Went to Costco and got one fresh off the truck! Hope we can keep it alive for a month! We are excited for December to be here and hopefully get our snow!! And I am especially excited for No-shave November to be over! Though he looks handsome and distinguished...it is rather scratchy!

Luminaria!
Since Thanksgiving was already behind us, we could just enjoy the rest of our week and do fun stuff! My niece Chrissy and her husband David and son Cohen were here from Alaska. They missed Ashley by one day. Flew in the same day she flew out! They are here for Thanksgiving with his family. We met up with them and went to Luminaria at Thanksgiving point. It was so fun! It was night time so some of my pictures are blurry, but you get the idea. The kids had a great time. We got donuts and hot chocolate and there were little activities the kids could do. Very fun! Candy Cane Lane smelled like peppermint. We found the Lamp Post from Narnia (we dubbed it) and saw Reindeer! The beautiful lanterns all through the exhibit of Christ were so beautiful and gave it such a reverent feeling there. And of course the changing patterns of lights all down the hill to the big tree were amazing to watch. It wasn't terribly cold but they had fire pits going in several places as you walked along. So many lights! This was a fun thing to do and I hope to make it a tradition!

Thanksgiving week!
First off...we are thankful that Ashley came to visit!! We HAD to go to the Wood Connection! Then we HAD to have a girl's craft day while she was here. It was so fun! Randa and Makayela joined us and Holly and Kameryn joined us too! (David snuck into the picture!) We all got some things made and Ashley's Santa was the cutest! She used little diamond jewels for the snowflakes and it was DARLING! We decided to have our Thanksgiving on Sunday while Ashley is in town. Eric and Randa's family joined us too and we had a ton of food. Everyone was full and happy! Walter's first Thanksgiving! It was kind of fun to get it done four days early and be able to have the rest of the week to just relax and enjoy the leftovers. And lastly, to finish out our week before Ashley went back to California, I went to the Holy Cow Boutique with my girls. That was super fun AND, I won a free tie! Hope Dave likes flowers! I am thankful for my family and the time we were able to spend together!

Cutest baby...
Little Walter is already 4 months old! He is sure a cutie! I love that I get to care for him each day while his momma is teaching school. A lot of times when I am holding him and feeding him his bottle, I look down into his face and I can see my dad's eyes. It is such a wonderful feeling. Anyway, we all love to Snuggle this Muggle!
While driving one day there was a line of clouds right across Timp. It looked so pretty! I had to take a picture through the dirty windshield ha ha. We are having great weather but are anxious for snow!!

Family Picture time
We did a couple of photo shoots trying to get that "just right" picture for Christmas cards. We are having a hard time teaching the kids to smile naturally, instead of just putting their teeth together and turning up the corners of their mouth ha ha. Walter has it down! Anyway, they looked cute and cooperated pretty good for the number of pictures we took! We will have to see which ones end up on their Christmas card, but here are a few that I liked and will enjoy having in my book.
