These deer sure like to hang around our yard! We see them almost every day. Some days it's the bucks, other days it's a doe and her babies. One day we saw 6 at once in our driveway! No bucks, all does and fawns. Crazy! It was pretty much the same two bucks hanging around, and then one day it was two DIFFERENT bucks. I know, because I count their antlers and our regulars are a 2 pointer and a 4 pointer. One day they were different. It's fun to see them until they munch on our fruit trees. Then I open the door and shoo them away! And of course we snap cute pictures of Zander now and then so have to toss them in. He loves to put these beads on every day. He is a cutie! We introduced him to one of our favorite musicals, "Newsies" and he seems to like it!

Presents and cake! (Jacob's party part two)
This is what birthday parties are really about...the presents and the cake! David loved seeing what all Jacob got...and had a hard time not taking them all out of Jacob's hands! ha ha. He was sweet to read the notes for Jacob that he couldn't read...the look on Jacob's face trying to figure out Kelsi's note just cracks me up! We sang happy birthday and it was fun to see the people on the other side of the wall singing through the crepe paper water. It was a fun day! Jacob's aunts and uncles came to support him too...Uncle Bruce and Aunt Kelly, and Uncle Greg and soon-to-be Aunt Stephanie (Eyring). I think we have sufficiently celebrate this little guy's special day!!
Standing room only in the kitchen! Unless you are "Little Greg" and can sit in the kiddie chairs
Jacob's birthday party...Under the sea!
Jacob's birthday party...another amazing event as usual! Amanda decorated the night before and she is training Nate in the party preparations department. She made the cake the night before too. It was amazing. FOUR layers! The guests arrived and it was a noisy and fun mess from the get go! First up was a craft to make while waiting for everyone to arrive. They made Jellyfish. Cute ones! Then they played games. Pin the fish on the hook, Fish, Fish, Shark! (duck, duck goose) and of course a fish pond. I was in charge of preparing the lunch plates. Hot dogs cut like octopus', grapes (fish eggs) and goldfish crackers. They had orange fish ice cubes in their drinks, and blue jello with a swedish fish in it. What fun! We had some great helpers besides the parents and Nate...Kai and Makayela were great game helpers! Will post the gift and cake pictures in the next post. Happy Birthday Jacob! Your mom made your day really special!!
