Preserving family memories...

Can anyone guess who this cute little blondie is? With the teddy bear bigger than her! :)

I have been scanning my mom and dad's old slides (yes, OLD!) and it is so fun!

I have done over 1000 now and feel pretty confident doing it. I would like to offer

my scanning services for a small fee (of course). I will charge half what the online

services do and feel that I do a pretty good job! So if anyone is interested

in preserving their own OLD memories...let me know!

I got a nice surprise today from a very sweet friend and neighbor! A happy spring and an easter decoration. Aren't they lovely? Thank you so much Caleen!!! You are very thoughtful, creative, and talented...thank you for sharing with me! Happy Spring everyone!

In Remembrance...

For my friend Kimberly Rullo...who taught me so much about not judging others...having courage...having a great attitude....never complaining and never giving up. She lost her valiant fight but is in a better place with no more pain. And I am a better person for having known her.

A must see!

Dave, Joel and I went to see the Clovis High Musical last night. It is a must see! The kids do an awesome job and it is just a fun, fun show! If you haven't had the opportunity yet, make time and just do it! It plays tonight and then next weekend again, Thursday thru Saturday. Right here at the Met. We highly recommend it as a fun and inexpensive evening....short too, I was surprised it was over by 9 p.m. Several youth in our ward and stake are in the production...don't hesistate, just go see it!!!

So I learned today at work that I get to have my old job back...starting next week...a desk job!!! You can't even begin to imagine how that made my day! Not to mention my legs and feet to feel better! :) I will be doing the "conversions" which means logging the files into the computer and giving them bar codes. I am soooooo excited!!! It will be nice to have a desk job back up front among the people I know...just had to share my good news! Hope all my blogging friends are having a wonderful day!

A look back in time...

This is my mom and dad not long after they were married. Don't they look great? Dad in his military dress and Mom looking like they are going to a ball...They probably were! We are going through all their old slides and scanning them onto our computer. This is a HUGE project but very fun! Look at this picture! So young and in love and their whole lives ahead of them...it is fun to look back in time and see what their life was like before I was even a glint in their eye! :)
