Thursday morning we checked out of our hotel and headed down the road. Our Disneyland adventures are done but our vacation isn't! We drove as far as St. George and spent the rest of our vacation there. The clouds looked so pretty driving in to St. George. We went to Red Robin for dinner and met Ashley there. We were done with dinner and had ordered her some food to go. She was driving up from California and had her two dogs with her. It was fun seeing her for a few minutes. We will see her again when we get home. Friday morning we checked out of our hotel after breakfast and went to do a session at the St. George Temple. We have always wanted to go to that temple and whenever we could actually make it, it would be closed or something. So now we finally got to go! We thought as we were going in that St. George is a major retirement place and most of the patrons are probably older than us, so we thought we might be the witness couple. We were right! ha. The brother that asked us if we could do it, asked if our knees worked okay. It was funny. Anyway, it is a beautiful temple. We loved the artwork and the historical aspect of it all. It was special to be there! We got lunch at a Jimmy John's and then we went to tour the Brigham Young winter home. A sweet senior missionary couple took us through. We also saw a Pioneer Museum so we stopped and went in there for a few minutes. There was some pretty interesting things to see. I love the old buildings. I took pictures of a big one, but I don't know what it used to be. It was beautiful though. We found Nielson's frozen custard and have been told how good they are, so we stopped to get one before the drive home. We got a "concrete," chocolate of course. It was delicious! Very thick and yummy! The temple and the ice cream was the perfect ending to our vacation. I loved spending so much time with Dave. We never get to do that! It was nice to get home though and we were just in time for Jacob's birthday!

Probably just the standard question there..."are your knees okay?"
