We decided one morning that it was the perfect day to go to the zoo. Summer is running out and we want to do a few more fun things! We loaded up the boys (Lilly was at her mom's) and headed out. David's friend Quinn came with us too. It was a great day to be there. I had Zander in the stroller and we went around and looked at several things like the elephants and the zebras while the others did the bird show. The others also rode the carousel, but Zander would have nothing to do with it. His mom said he loves the carousel, but he would not let me put him on it. We couldn't even get on and sit on a bench, he would not let me get him near it. We rode the train and we watched the sea otters play. We saw a glimpse of the baby lions and the baby giraffe was very cute. We had packed our lunch so sat at a table and enjoyed lunch. By the time we left, Zander fell right asleep in the car and didn't even wake up when I moved him to his bed when we got home! It was a fun time at the Hogle Zoo!
