August 1st! I can't believe it is a year ago when we came and got our annual pass. We came for Jacob's birthday and got here on the 5th. So we only have a few more days left, we will get our money's worth in the next few days for sure! We got up early and got to the park as close to opening time as we could. It always takes awhile to park so we have never been there when the gates first open. But we went straight to CA adventures to ride the Toy Story ride before the lines got too long. They don't have fast passes. Alas, this is the ride that Dave beats me. He has the advantage in this ride. It is a fun ride and I like it. We also rode the Radiator Springs racers. I am getting a little more used to it so I will ride it with Dave, but it's not my favorite. We found a splash pad that we had never seen before by the pier. And of course we are there for food. We went over to Disneyland for our Mickey Beneits and I finally got my pickle! We had nothing but time so we stood in line for Indiana Jones. It was fun being in line and talking to people by us and not having to care that we were in line for a long time. We got tickets for the World of Color that night on the pier so we did that. We were right in the front by the water. We got SOOOOO wet! It was a fun show, but we couldn't believe how drenched we were! The water was just dripping from our hats and we were soaked through! Some people had rain ponchos on, but they were soaked too. There was just no escaping the water! And we had all scooted back when it started. Lot of good that did! Ha. Anyway, we headed back to the hotel as it was getting late and we didn't want to do anything else being so wet. Another fun day with the hubster!
