Oh my goodness it is school again already! The kids are going to a new school this year out in Lehi. They are a little nervous but they will do great! I drove out there to get them out the door and take the first day pictures for the momma. With the traditional jumping pictures too...I cannot believe my little David is in 5th grade! Lilly in 4th and Jacob in 3rd. Why do they grow so fast!!?? When we got to school, Walter and I walked them up...the student council and some teachers or principal or who ever they might be had a cute balloon arch and were high fiving kids as they walked up the red carpet to the school. The kids didn't want to walk through there so we went around. Out to the playground where we found out where they are supposed to line up. The bell rang and they were off! Then Walter and I drove back to Grandma's house and we had to take a picture of him on first day of Grandma daycare! I hope the kids have a great new year at their new school and make some friends right away. They are all pretty social so I think they will do just fine. Love these grands of mine!

Garden of weedin'
Look at that lush green garden! Can you see the pumpkin! (There's more than one!) We are having such good luck with the garden area this year. We will be sad to leave it. Since Nate and Amanda bought a house (they moved out the week before Joel's wedding) and Joel got married and moved out, Dave and I don't need this huge house and yard to ourselves! We are glad Nate and Amanda were able to find a house in Lehi. He graduates in December but Asphalt Zipper has already offered him a contract and with Amanda teaching, they were in a position to buy a home. Hopefully we will be able to find one soon too. We will be looking for temporary housing while we house hunt. Time to put down roots here in Utah! So the grass and garden look great, and the garden boxes are doing great too...but look at those weeds along the fence! The are on a down slope so really are almost as tall as me! We have some work to do before we move...We have loved living here the last almost 3 years. It is the longest we have lived in one place since coming to Utah. I finally feel like I have friends and the ward is so wonderful. I hate the thoughts of moving again...but se la vi. Lots to get done and lots of cleaning out to do!

How to split a soda can...
When the fridge in your garage is apparently too cold and a can of soda freezes in it! Yes, we had quite the mess to clean up! Thankfully there wasn't much in there since the wedding was over. Phew! And look at that cute Walter with his otter pop. Grandma's my name, spoiling's my game!

Last of the wedding pictures...
Friday, August 10th was a long day. A beautiful day. A happy day. Love these kids! We hope they were happy with how everything turned out. Now time to cut the cake and get these kids on the road to happily ever after!
And that's how it's done folks!
Ready to throw the bouquet...I didn't get a picture of the girls lined up to catch it, one of her bridesmaids caught it I think...John had left by this time so no pictures of it unless someone else took some. Shawna made a smaller bouquet to throw so Kristen could keep her actual bouquet.
And now off to Park City! Mr. and Mrs. McKinney! Our sweet friends, Ray and Diane Tuckett let the kids use their condo for a few days. Awesome! The picture of them driving away is blurry, but had to show that their car got decorated! We also filled a basket with non perishable food for the condo...And now the time came to clean up...again we had lots of help and we feel like it was a successful reception!
The End...
More reception pics...
The photo booth was a fun addition to the reception. Makayela ran it for me. Kai helped some too. It was mostly kids that used it but a few adults did too, at the begging of the kids ha ha. We even got the bride and groom to swing by for a shot. I didn't post all the other pictures, just our family ones. The YSA ward took a few using the picture frame mostly, not the props. It was still cute. The other pictures are random shots John took of people. Again, I just posted the family ones. He took one of most everyone! Last up, cutting the cake, throwing the bouquet, and heading off to Park City!
David...
Lindsay...
Clark...(he was a super hero at helping with tables and chairs and anything else we needed!)
I think this is the only shot we got of Eric and Randa...I am sad about that!
Jacob...
Clif...
Lilly...
The cute Bride and Groom...
Clif again...thinking seriously...
Carson and his curly hair! Everyone loves to touch it ha ha.
Kelly! She helped with the fruit kabobs and is a dear friend who moved here from Clovis also!
Sweet Ted and Linda Hansen...in our ward (so I visit teach her) but they serve in the singles ward. They are wonderful people and I am glad Joel got to work with Ted in the ward. Ted also teaches at Oak Canyon where Amanda teaches.
And this is Evelin (on the left) the sweet sister who made the Brazilian treats!
