David's pinewood derby was tonight. His car wasn't doing so well at first but he kept a stiff upper lip! Then suddenly it started taking off and doing very well! He did a good job on his car with the help of Grandpa and Nate. David is lucky to have engineers in the house! We all had fun and that's the point, right? He got to bring home the spirit staff for being such a good sportsman and he will get to add something to it to bring back next month. A very fun night! When we got home, there was a chipmunk in our porch light! How did he get in there? We don't know, but he ate up all the dead bugs!
