First, a washer story. We needed a new washer and dryer, so Amanda and Dave ran down Monday night right before Lowes closed to pick out a set. We had already been and looked at some and looked them up on line etc. and had decided on a set. Well, turns out they were out of stock on that. Only the floor model was left and the salesman who would hardly give them the time of day said he couldn't sell those. It was past closing time now and as they were leaving the store there was a manager at the door asking how their experience was. They said they weren't happy and told him why. He immediately took them back to that department, made the salesman clock in again and sell them the floor model! YAY! Good for the Lowe's manager! Now the fun part. Tuesday the installers came and put the new set it. We were getting desperate to get some laundry done so Joel put the first load in. When the washer started spinning, it was spinning out of control! It was rocking back and forth and scooting all around the place...LOUD! Joel and I both tried to hold it in place, no success! I took a video of it and sent it to Dave. He called Lowes and tried to get it figured out. He was on hold a long time and didn't get very far. They said it sounded like the shipping bolts might still be in, but the installers had taken them out. When Dave got home from work he sat down to watch it himself. He couldn't figure it out so he went down to Lowes and showed them the video. They said they could send the installers out tomorrow but it sounded like the shipping bolts. So Nate got behind the washer and he saw the there was one shipping bolt that got missed! It was kind of hidden a bit, but he found it! And we now had a washer that worked!! What a crazy adventure! So grateful to have a working washer and dryer now, and a laundry room with space to open the doors and get the laundry in and out easily! The last house was a more like a closet!

One day I was so sleepy that I layed down on the couch. The boys were so sweet, they just sat down and read their magazines and kept nice and quiet. It was great!
The first day at Aspen! David held Lilly's hand, then they all skipped along to line up! It was so cute! They were happy to be there and it made Grandma happy.
When I lie down in the afternoon while Zander is asleep, Jacob climbs on top and he is my "Jacob Blanket" to keep me warm. It's so cute. We have a little quiet rest time.
