David's baptism was at our Stake Center on Saturday morning, March 5th. There was only him and another little girl from our ward who were being baptized. David's grandparents, Greg and Janice Stewart, from Georgia came for the day and also grandparents Doug and Roxanne Dibb came from St. George. It was a very nice service. Grandpa Stewart baptized him and Grandpa McKinney confirmed him. We took a few pictures afterwards then came back to our "mostly packed" house for a little brunch. We had invited everyone to stay and help us move (yes, it's moving day too!) but of course, everyone had other obligations for the afternoon. Eric's family came for the baptism and quickly fixed plates to take with them as they had another baptism to attend up in Salt Lake. We didn't even get a picture with them! I feel bad about that. Anyway, it was a lovely morning. David looked so handsome and we are so proud of him for taking this first step on the pathway back to our Heavenly Father. Grandpa and I gave him a little hymnal with his name engraved on it. I think he liked it! We love you David!
