More wedding day pictures...

After a few more photos on the temple grounds, the new little family walked home to the luncheon in our yard.  We are only a couple of driveways away from the temple intersection so it was a short walk.  And they looked so cute!  By the time they walked down our gravel lane, the luncheon was about ready to go.  Everything looked so lovely!  April and my friend Christi Judd really made it look beautiful!  I could not have done any of this with out those two sweeties!  I owe them big! Amber Knudsen picked up our food for us at BYU catering.  We had chicken cordon bleu, mashed potatoes and green beans, salad and rolls.  All very yummy!  And reasonably priced too!  Randa was a sweetie too and helped serve the food.  I didn't mean for her to get stuck behind the table! There was a little chill in the air so we had baskets of blankets in case anyone wanted to use one.  They got used!  But the sun was shining and it really was a great day for an outdoor even, especially for so late in October! Not sure if I mentioned it before, but the original date they wanted to get married (Oct. 2nd) but we had to push it back because their sealing cancellation letters had not arrived...that day there was a terrible rain/hail storm that lasted all day!  Would have been terrible!  Guess I learned who is in charge and that I need to have more faith in HIS timing! Nate's parents brought the cake up from St. George.  My childhood friend lives there and makes cakes, she offered to do it for cost.  What a sweetheart!  Sweet Cakes by Karen if you are ever in the St. George area!  My cousin Chrissy did all the flowers and the little lanterns.  We borrowed most everything, just bought the food and rented a few long table cloths.  We were very happy with how it all turned out! Lilly was so cute how she signed the book to Amanda Mom, and Jacob wrote his name and then I love you way further down on the page.  PS I love Amanda's purple shoes!
