Park day...

On Thursday we went to Bicentennial park.  It was a lovely day and we were there to have fun...and for a purpose too!  It was Joel's Eagle project day!  (another post will be dedicated to the project).  David and Jacob played on the playground a bit...

 Then we went over to check out the project...replacing the Cricket pitch...Jacob is checking it out with Joel and Scoutmaster Ryan Budge...

 We enjoyed sitting at the park, eating, and watching everyone else work!  Ashley and Mario came with their dogs and helped David fly a kite.  Everyone had a fun day at the park!  I think even the eagle project workers had a small amount of fun...

Zoo Day!

On Wednesday we decided to go to the Fresno Zoo. There are tons of pictures - so beware!  It was so cold and windy that day!  I loaned David my extra jacket that I had brought for Amanda.  He looked like a little Ewok!  Jacob wouldn't keep his blanket wrapped around him so Amanda ran into the gift shop and bought him a sweatshirt.  It was 25 bucks!  But it was greatly needed!

 Jacob loves to give me the pouty face when I look at him...so I catured it a few times during the day.

 Our first stop was the reptile house...

 Joel's friend Becca was with us, and David stuck to her like glue! 

 Watching the sea lions play...our friends the Laings were at the zoo also...that is Peyton Laing in the stroller next to Jacob...

 Watching the Winged Wonder Bird Show.  Still so windy and cold!  But we were having fun!

The most exciting part of the day was feeding the giraffes! The man gives you a branch of leaves to feed them...

 and the giraffes know it's feeding time!  They are ready and waiting!

 They have the longest tongues!!

 It was really fun to do!  Joel and his two friends did it too...

 The petting zoo was another exciting thing to do...

 A tractor!  This is by the new exhibit they are building for the sea lions.

Our fun zoo day!  Devin, Becca, Joel, Jacob, David and Amanda...even though it was so windy and cold, we still had a fun time!

Jacob's first haircut!

His mommy said it was time...so on Monday Jacob got his first haircut!  In Grandma's kitchen!  He did really good sitting there for her, as long as Grandpa fed him mini marshmallows.

 She clipped a little here...

 and she clipped a little there...and just a few marshmallows later...

 she got it all done!

 Mommy did a great job and Jacob did a great job sitting pretty still!  Doesn't he look great!  He suddenly looks older...

 and I have to admit, I kinda miss that little curly mullet at the back of his head!

Auntie, Uncles and Ice cream!

A tradition we have when the Georgia kids come, is to go to Yodigity Yogurt!  We love that place!  I think David and Jacob do too!

 and tasting everyone's selections...

We had to squeeze Amanda in between the two car seats!  Good thing it's a short trip!

 We love it when Uncle Clark comes over...he brought his new puppy Zoey...Jacob wasn't too sure about the puppy...but he knows who Uncle Clark is!

 And Ontie Ashley is always fun...she gave laundry basket rides!

 Uncle Joel is a lot of fun too and David loves playing with him!

In a few more days Uncle Clif will be here too...then we will have more Uncle fun!!
